| Brian St. John has a Masters Degree in
Orchestral Conducting and a Bachelors Degree in Viola performance from
the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Conservatory of Music. While in
Kansas City, St. John worked with the State Ballet of Missouri and
Philharmonic of Kansas City.
While living in Colorado, St. John has been very active in the
promotion and growth of arts and music in Boulder County. Over the past
three years he has composed three ballets:
- Cain: A Mystery
- Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
- Hansel and Gretel
These ballets are unique in that they feature young musicians and
artists from the Longmont Youth Symphony and the Longmont Dance Theatre.
The 2006-2007 season is St. John's eleventh season as Music Director of the
Timberline Symphony in Louisville, Colorado. |
